The library is officially opening on April 1st!  We would like to welcome everyone back to the building.  Please note that some services, such as meeting and study rooms, are not available, but you can browse the collection, check out books, use a computer and print. We will gradually expand services as Covid restrictions evolve.

The library will still offer curbside services, phone and email reference.  Email or call us at or 253.841.5454.

Wish you could listen to a story any time you want?  NOW YOU CAN- and it's just a phone call away! Kids -and kids at heart- can call the Library (253 841 5454) and choose option 4 for our new family-friendly StoryLine!    Check back in coming weeks for new stories, too.

Preschool Power via Zoom
Sessions are pre-recorded

Join Miss Bonnie for stories, songs, fingerplays and more.  The library building is closed, but we can meet online!  Reading, rhyming, singing, and talking inspire literacy and language development, the foundations of learning. Storytime is structured to help show parents and caregivers how they can help their child interact with books and develop early literacy skills, too! Especially for ages 3 to 5. Visit our Preschool Power YouTube playlist to view the videos.

The theme for the April 16th session is growing!

Every other Thursday beginning January 7 through May 27, 2021
Sing-a-Song Storytime

Sessions are pre-recorded

Ms. Carol and Ms. Debi sing songs and move around to the accompaniment of the piano. We also take time to listen to the book Trashy Town by Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha, illustrated by Dan Yaccarino.  Singing and dancing along are highly encouraged!  Recommended for children (1-6 years old) and their caregivers to share together.

To watch any of the videos in the Sing-A-Song series, please visit the YouTube playlist.

Trashy Town is read with permission of HarperCollins Children's Books.
